Catastrophic Floods in Poland

Club President Jan Kutypa and the committee of Polish Club Albion, on behalf of club members, has donated $10,000 to the flood effected town and region of Klodzko.  Our hearts are with the people of Poland at this extremely difficult time. God bless Polska.

Severe flooding has struck parts of Poland, causing widespread devastation. Torrential rains overwhelmed rivers, leading to significant damage in several regions, particularly in southern and central Poland. Homes, infrastructure, and farmland were submerged, displacing thousands of residents and leaving many areas inaccessible. The floods also caused extensive damage to businesses and public services, with rescue operations underway to assist affected communities. The crisis highlighted vulnerabilities in flood management, prompting calls for improved infrastructure and emergency response measures. The Polish government and local organizations have mobilized resources for recovery efforts, but the damage remains substantial.
